Veolia, the company that handles waste and recycling for Stafford Borough Council, has opened applications for its Sustainability Fund - offering grants of up to £1,000 to support green and community projects across the borough.
Who can apply?
The fund is open to not-for-profit organisations, community groups, and individuals in areas where Veolia operates. As well as cash grants, applicants can request in-kind resources or volunteer support to help get their project off the ground.
What kinds of projects qualify?
Applications are welcome from a wide range of environmental and social projects. All submissions will be judged on merit, with extra credit given to those that show long-term or lasting community benefit.
How to apply
Applications are open now through Veolia's website at veolia.co.uk/sustainability-fund. The deadline is Wednesday 30 September.
Councillor Ian Fordham, Cabinet Member for Environment at Stafford Borough Council, said the fund was a "great opportunity" for groups already working to improve the local environment to take their efforts further.
