Fire Warning at Chippy Jumps as Conditions Stay Dry

A small fire was recently lit at the Chippy Jumps area, prompting an urgent plea to parents and residents to stay vigilant.

Gnosall Parish Council has issued a fire safety warning after a small fire was discovered at the Chippy Jumps within the last couple of days. The fire was fortunately put out before causing any damage, but the council has warned the situation could have been far worse had the flames reached nearby trees.

Parents are being asked to speak with their children and teenagers and make clear that lighting fires in the current dry conditions is dangerous and must not happen.

All residents are urged to remain vigilant and to call 999 immediately if they spot any fires.
