The club has made its first donation to a local good cause, with £305 being presented to the volunteers behind Gnosall's Best Kept Village efforts.
The donation comes from the "Find The Joker" draw, organised by Gnosall Family Sports and Social Club. The weekly game has already proved a huge success, raising £6,100 during its first round. As part of the scheme, 5% of the money raised is set aside for local community projects and organisations.
The first beneficiary is the dedicated team behind Gnosall's Best Kept Village campaign, a group of volunteers who work throughout the year to help keep the village looking attractive, welcoming and well cared for.
The Find The Joker draw continues to grow in popularity. The current jackpot now stands at £2,000.
Tickets cost £1 each or £5 for a strip and are available now from the club.
The initiative demonstrates how community fundraising can deliver a double benefit, creating excitement for participants while generating meaningful support for local organisations that make a positive difference to people in Gnosall.
Participants must be aged 16 or over to enter.
