Staffordshire Police is inviting school and college students to apply for its Work Experience Insights Programme, which runs in summer 2027. The programme offers a genuine look at how the force operates, covering a broad range of departments and career paths rather than just front-line policing.
Who can apply and when
Two separate cohorts are available, depending on school year:
- Year 12 and 13 students - 14 to 18 June 2027
- Year 10 and 11 students - 28 June to 2 July 2027
Participants will hear directly from staff across different departments, explore the variety of roles on offer, and get a clearer picture of the skills and qualities the organisation looks for.
How to apply
Applications are open now and close at noon on 6 November 2026. Places are limited, and guidance is available on the application page to help students put their best case forward. It is worth not leaving it too late.
