The Horns Inn is offering its midweek roast dinner on a "pay what you got" basis, meaning customers choose what they pay with no set price, no catch and no minimum spend.
How it works
Turn up, order a freshly prepared homemade roast, and pay whatever you can afford. That is the entire arrangement. The pub says all food is homemade and cooked fresh, and the initiative is designed to make a proper sit-down roast accessible to anyone who fancies one.
It is a quietly generous idea. For some residents, a midweek meal out can feel like a stretch. This removes that barrier entirely.
When and what is available
The roast is being served today from noon until 8pm, alongside the pub's standard menu. Vegan options are also available. Quantities are limited, so arriving earlier in the day is advised if you want to be sure of a plate.
